For our summer ‘24 campaign we drew inspiration from visitors’ camera rolls to demonstrate just how fun, full and memorable a visit to the UK’s most popular zoo can be for all different types of people. “Endless Adventures” launched with two lo-fi, 30 second films: one that told the story of a day at the zoo captured on a family’s phone, and another that showed the story of a couple’s date through their own film and photos. The campaign extended into out of home too, with a series of innovative D6 executions that depicted the idea as if the viewer is looking at someone’s personal camera roll. We see the vast array of animal species at the zoo, along with more personal, and emotive moments and insights of people’s unique experiences. Whether you’re obsessed with moths, Insta-worthy forests, or looking for somewhere the whole family can have fun, we showed that Chester Zoo’s got it all. The campaign was the Zoo’s most successful ever, increasing visitor numbers when all competitor zoos and other attractions are in decline.
